INTERMISSIONS :
Social Installation in the Park

11 & 12 September 2020
at Jean-Brillant Park

In line with community-based art projects, INTERMISSIONS: Social Installation in the Park aims to strengthen social relations, mobilise diverse ethno-cultural groups, share artistic practices and create new intercultural art forms.

Through performative installation, mediation and skills-sharing activities, as well as a digital platform, INTERMISSIONS brings together artists and audiences from various backgrounds. The installation is intended to provide a better understanding and representation of the diversity of artistic and social practices, putting into perspective the different experiences and points of view of our community.

Programmes included Art Hive by Thi-My Truong, Thoughts in Three Stages with Fabienne Casimir inspired by Japanese haiku, Papel Picado workshop by Maria Ezcurra, Movement workshop by Deborah Maia de Lima, installations by Maria Ezcurra and Romeo Gongora.

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the event, and special thanks to the team at the Maison de la Culture de Côte-Des-Neiges for their help and support.
